Japan leads Neutraceutical use in the world
In the last 15 years, the Japanese nutraceutical industry (dietary supplements and functional foods) grew at an average rate of 15 percent per year. This is even more impressive when you consider that the Japanese economy grew at an average annual rate of 1.5 percent during the same time period.
